Keeneland Sales Graduate United Headlines Field For Grade 2 Charles Whittingham

Keeneland sales graduate and top grass horse United tops the field for Saturday’s Charles Whittingham (G2) at Santa Anita.

United won the San Marcos (G2) at Santa Anita in his season debut on Feb. 1 after closing 2019 with runner-up finishes in the Breeders’ Cup Turf (G1) and Hollywood Turf Cup (G2).

Highlighting the field for the Daytona (G3), also at Santa Anita, are Keeneland September Yearling Sale graduates Cistron and Texas Wedge. A multiple graded stakes winner, Cistron won the San Simeon (G3) in his 2020 debut on March 21. Texas Wedge comes into the Daytona undefeated this year, recording victories in the Joe Hernandez (G2) at Santa Anita and the World of Trouble Turf Sprint (L) at Gulfstream.
