Keeneland Sales Graduates Midnight Bourbon, Moon Swag Seek Classic Points in Saturday Preps

Thirty-eight Keeneland sales alumni are entered in graded stakes this weekend at Fair Grounds, Santa Anita, Gulfstream and Laurel. 

Sales graduates figure prominently in two classic preps – Risen Star (G2) Presented by Lamarque Ford and Rachel Alexandra (G2) – on Saturday at Fair Grounds.

Midnight Bourbon, winner of the Lecomte (G3) in January at Fair Grounds, seeks points on the Road to the Kentucky Derby (G1) in the Risen Star. 

Stakes winner Moon Swag, most recently third in the Silverbulletday Stakes at Fair Grounds, is among the top contenders in the Rachel Alexandra, a prep for the Kentucky Oaks (G1). Becca’s Rocket and Zoom Up, both allowance winners in their last starts, also are featured.
