Graded stakes competition is on tap Wednesday at Saratoga and Del Mar, led by three Keeneland sales graduates in the Honorable Miss (G2) at Saratoga and four sales alumni in the Cougar II (G3) at Del Mar.
The 8-5 morning-line favorite in the Honorable Miss is Keeneland sales alumni and multiple graded stakes winner Finley’sluckycharm, who gives four to nine pounds to her five rivals as the 123-pound highweight. Finley’sluckycharm earned her first Grade 1 victory when she captured Keeneland’s Madison in April.
Keeneland sales graduate and Grade 1 winner Hoppertunity, who has earned $4,692,625 in five seasons of racing, is the 6-5 morning-line favorite for the Cougar II. His 2018 record includes victories in the Brooklyn Invitational (G2) in June at Belmont Park and the Tokyo City Cup (G3) in April at Santa Anita. Both races were at the Cougar II distance of 1½ miles.
