The Shakertown (G2), for 3-year-olds and up at 5 1/2 furlongs on the turf, runs Saturday, April 8. The Shakertown Stakes was named after Shakertown, America's largest and most completely restored Shaker community and living museum, located 25 miles southwest of Lexington.

In 2022 Golden Pal captured the Shakertown Stakes (G2) for trainer Wesley A. Ward, jockey Irad Ortiz Jr., and owners John Magnier, Michael B Tabor and Derrick and Westerberg Smith.
