1st race [Clm 16000B, 6F] – (8) Kaymus was a front-end winner this summer at Monmouth Park and has a chance to get loose on the lead in this field. She has been off since trying the turf for the first time in August. She won her debut against NY-breds. (4) Karen’s Honor won for a $30,000 tag two races back to win a N2L condition and drops into a good spot to try and take the next level. (5) Fuligni was third in a similar spot last time. (1) Find Your Joy was a winner in October in a N2L claimer.

2nd race [Alw 92000 N1X, 6 ½ F] – (7) Kid’s Last Laugh (A) came back from a six-month layoff, got shuffled back to last, moved out, then back inside, and rallied for third. (2) She’s a Tempest was last seen running third in a pair of Grade 3 stakes in California in March having since moved to the Bill Mott barn. (1) Sarir was claimed for $62,500 from a second-place finish at Keeneland in March by Linda Rice. (3) Reliable Lady won a maiden special weight at Saratoga and followed that with a third in an allowance.

3rd race [Clm 16000 N2L, 7F] – (2) Giant’s Fire (A) broke well, dropped back, got stuck behind horses, and once clear was second best in the race. (6) Rock Star Boy has been off since May when he set the pace going a mile in an optional claiming allowance and finished fourth. (1) Cajun Vibes won a $10,000 maiden claimer by more than nine lengths with a closing move and finds a field with lots of early speed and he gets the right set-up. (9) Jake’s Attention will make his first start on the NYRA circuit after an off the pace victory last time.

7th race [NY, Alw 80000 N1X, 1 1/6 mi TURF] – (9) Boxed Wine (B) lacked room in the stretch and finished just two lengths behind the winner. (5) Tongue Twister moved from a maiden claiming victory to a pair of starter allowances with a win last time. (8) Red Burgundy has shown plenty of early speed in the past and she was second in her last two starts at this level. (10) Starts Now returns to state-bred competition after a third in a $40,000 claimer.

Best bets: Kid’s Last Laugh (2nd); Giant’s Fire (3rd). Best value: Kaymus (1st); Boxed Wine (7th).
