1st race – (2) Sainte Chapelle had some trouble at the start and finished third. Gets a switch to Gaffalione and can post a win. (9) Mathurine has been away since March but will be dangerous if ready. (5) Makia has some speed and could hang around until the end. (8) Vino for the Queen should appreciate a return to Tapeta. 2nd race – (3) It’s Only Words was second at this level and debuts for Crichton off the claim. (5) Defended drops in class and looks like the one to fear. (6) Lightning Dust deserves attention off the O’Connell claim. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-5-6.

4th race – (2) She’s So Sexy rallied for a game second at a similar level. Was given some time off and seems ready for a big effort. (6) Evanora was claimed  by Barboza off a second and seems like the main rival. (8) Euphima drops in class and should be dangerous here. (1) Musthavebeenlove will benefit from a rail trip. 6th race – (3) Rachels Song is in razor-sharp form and looks best here. (1) Parallel returns to Tapeta and is a threat on her top effort. (7) Southern Palace will welcome a return to Tapeta. (5) Avatal Hero could be tough to catch here. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-3-5-7.

9th race - (5) Souper Amusing has the breeding to handle the stretchout to two turns. (10) Designer Bag was a good second in her debut but drew a tough post here. (8) Zaza J is an intriguing firster.
