Keeneland September Sale Graduates Win Preakness, Major Stakes in England and Ireland

Keeneland September Yearling Sale graduates excelled on the world stage this past week. Kentucky Derby Presented by Woodford Reserve (G1) winner Justify took aim on the Triple Crown following a victory in the $1.5 million Preakness (G1) at Pimlico on Saturday. Keeneland sales have produced 24 Preakness winners, including Exaggerator in 2016 and Cloud Computing in 2017.

In England, September Sale graduate Roaring Lion demonstrated his brilliance in winning the Betfred Dante (G2) at York by 4½ lengths.Sergei Prokofiev, a graduate of the 2017 September Sale, established himself as an exciting 2-year-old prospect with his victory in the Coolmore War Command Rochestown (L) at Naas in Ireland.
