1^st race [Md Sp Wt, 1 1/8 mi] – (4) Military Road finished in the top three in all six starts including last month at Saratoga where he had the lead. (3) Elko County was second the entire ten-furlong race just 12 days ago for Kenny Mc Peek. (6) Stop the Press was third last month going today’s nine furlong distance. (5) Daily Grind was a consistent performer in his 13 starts.

3^rd race [Clm 25000 N3L, 6F] – (4) Roman Goddess ran well in a series of starter allowances and drops back to the N3L condition where last seen she was a close second after having the lead. (7) Spiritual Lady was a winner of the N2L condition last time and got claimed. He ran well against better horses in the Spring. (2) Poseidon’s Mist left NY-bred races to run for a tag a N2L in May and was a winner. (6) Dolce Sera was a N2L winner three race back and then tried a pair of allowances.

5^th race [OC 62K/N2X, 1 1/8 mi TURF] – (4) Pallotta Sisters (B) was taken back after showing speed, finished third, and got claimed. (2) Prerequisite will make her first start of the year after winning a Grade 1 and a Grade 2 stakes last year. (3) Root Cause was stakes placed last year and came back to win a Saratoga allowance on the front end in July. (9) Self Confident won her last two starts in a maiden at Monmouth Park and an allowance at Laurel Park.

10^th race [Hopeful (G1), 7F] – (2) Ferocious (A) may have been the most impressive maiden winner of the Saratoga meeting and comes from the connections of Kentucky Derby winner Mage. (8) Chancer McPatrick (A) rallied from last in a 10 horse field to win his first start as the 2-1 favorite. (7) Mentee got the second best speed figure in this field from his maiden victory in June as part of an odds-on entry. (6) Studlydoright won his first two starts including the Tremont at Saratoga and then was second in the Sanford (G2).                                                                                     

Best bets: Military Road (1^st); Ferocious (10^th). Best value: Roman Goddess (3^rd); Pallotta Sisters (5^th).
