Enjoy Wednesday racing at Keeneland!

1st Race

6-1-2

#6 Good Like Magic simply put looks like he's gonna be too tough for this group to beat him given what he's done over the course of his career and even in his most recent defeat about two months back. #1 Hoppin John cuts back in distance and should be able to cut into the lead set by the favorite if he stays true to form. #2 Pico d’Oro looks like he'll benefit with the cut back and distance today and with some more pay out in front of him to run down late.

2nd Race

7-6-4

#7 Il Marchesse show speed and faded versus tougher. Ususally a solid angle with a horse dropping in class. #6 Morally the only horse in here that has gotten incrementally better over the course of his three races. While others have not been as consistent on the upward trend.  #4 Deeply Hidden comes out of much tougher company and should be the favorite because of it.

3rd Race

10-4-3

#10 Sombra Dorada should improve the job down in class and it won't take much improvement in order to handle this group for this runner today. #4 Three Polks also move down in class and should benefit from it as well. #3 Royal Blood will likely be a long shot, but it's capable of keeping up with these horses if you look at a few of her races, including her run at the end of last year. She cuts back in distance and perhaps that will wake her up.

4th Race

2-4-5

#2 Krickle has stayed pretty steady throughout her last 10 starts and at some point in time she's gonna find her friends to get back to the winter circle. I have a feeling that this is a friendly situation for her given the competition surrounding her. #4 The Big Calhouna needs to be respected based on her most recent start showing she's capable of hanging in this level of competition after finishing second at Churchill Downs. #5 Sassy Walker races second off of a layoff and looks to improve with some back form that suggests that she's capable of showing that improvement.

5th Race

6-7-4

#6 Moon Spun she's run well in all five career starts, and I think last time out at Kentucky Downs the late left Bend down the Kentucky down stretch caught her a little off guard. Also, she cut back in distance which may be a plus for filly, who likes to sit close to the pace in these types of sprint races on turf. #7 Penny’s Smile should improvement when trying Grass for the first time as she picked up her first career victory when making the transition to turf at the end of August at Kentucky Downs. I just wonder if the cut back in distance will agree with her that she takes today moving to sprinting on terrific Keeneland versus at Kentucky Downs. #4 Royal Slipper changes surfaces to the turf course today for trainer Wesley Ward. She's definitely quick and if she's better than she was it too now at the age of three I can understand why she'll probably be favored with John Velazquez in the saddle.

6th Race

3-8-10

#3 Think Big ran into a bus saw last time out at Churchill Downs. We'll see how they at distance suits this horse but he's got beautiful Godolphin pedigree that should be able to handle it. #8 Yellow Brick lost position early on in his most recent start with the outside post that he had drawing post position number 11 at Churchill Downs. He's a horse likes to come running late as he's finished second  six times and 13 starts so perhaps the added distance today will benefit his late style. #10 D’oro Unbridled got better with going to turns for the first time in his most recent started appears, and he gets to do that once again today.

7th Race

5-3-12

#5 Six Minus has done well at this distance and will benefit returning to it and coming back to Keeneland where he's run well in the past. #3 Goldeneye was able to go wired a wire and win at Kentucky Downs at this distance now has to prove that he's capable of doing it here at Keeneland racecourse. #12 Better Bet has been consistent throughout his career at these longer distance, sans one performance where he got in all kinds of trouble. His last two races have been good.

8th Race

2-12-10

#2 Indy Charge takes a massive plunge down in class today. #12 Whiskey or Wine looks like a grinder and a stayer type in that should work against this type of competition at this distance. #10 Rocket Night has speed figures that make him look like a contender versus the rest of this group.
