Apply for Credit: Log in at portal.keeneland.com to review your current credit limit and request any adjustments as you may only bid up to your credit limit. New users should register for an account and request credit ahead of time. 

Inspect at the Farm: Both mares are available for inspection prior to or during the sale.

Key Sale Instructions

When the sale opens on Monday, Aug. 26 please follow these simple steps.

Step 1

Log in to your account in the Keeneland Sales Portal at portal.keeneland.com. Verify your email address listed in the Keeneland Sales Portal as you will receive notifications by email regarding your bidding status.

Step 2

Click the AUGUST FLASH SALE button in the top right corner to automatically access and participate in the Flash Sale. 

Step 3

Bid at any point during the duration of the sale. You have two options for bidding: 

Max Bid establishes a top price you are willing to pay for the hip. As the bidding progresses, the software will automatically bid on your behalf as you are outbid up to your max bid. 

Direct Bid allows you to bid manually as you go at any point.
