55+ Keeneland Sales Graduates Featured in Weekend Graded Stakes

More than 55 Keeneland sales graduates are entered in graded stakes during an action-packed weekend of racing across North America. 

Highlights include four Grade 1 juvenile stakes with berths in the TVG Breeders’ Cup Juvenile (G1) Presented by TAA and Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies (G1) on the line as “Win & You’re In” races. 

Among those seeking a Grade 1 win and an automatic spot in the Juvenile are Wit, a winner in two of three career races including the Sanford (G3), in the Champagne (G1) at Belmont, along with Corniche and Rockefeller, both career debut winners, in the American Pharoah (G1) at Santa Anita.

Undefeated Grade 1 winner Echo Zulu tops the field for the Frizette (G1) at Belmont, a Challenge race for the Juvenile Fillies. At Santa Anita, impressive debut winner Ain’t Easy is looking to punch her ticket to the Juvenile Fillies with a win in the Chandelier (G1).

Other notable Keeneland sales graduates competing this weekend are: multiple Grade 1 winner Code of Honor in the Woodward (G1) at Belmont; United, who defends his title in the John Henry Turf Championship (G2) at Santa Anita, and Knicks Go, a multiple Grade 1 winner and earner of more than $5.3 million who makes his final prep for the Breeders’ Cup in the Lukas Classic (G3) at Churchill Downs.
