1st race [NY, Md 40000, 1 mi] – (5) Lucky Brody had a second and a third against open company at Aqueduct in his two most recent starts. (2) Lindros raced at Parx in his last two races and returns to New York to face state-breds. (1) Cagney was second in his most recent start behind a Todd Pletcher first-time starter that came back to run well in his next start. (4) Johnselectricride missed getting that first victory by a neck in his second career start with a late rally and stretches out from seven furlongs.

5th race [OC50k/SAL50k, 1 mi] – (6) Kingdom Queen was second at the Big A under similar conditions but adds distance from a second-place finish at six furlongs. (2) Waters of Merom was last seen in the Busanda for Chad Brown after having won her two prior races one of them at this level. (1) Scenic View was second in a $32,000 open claimer most recently and runs in here for the optional $50,000 tag. (4) Sweet Surprise broke his maiden for a $50,000 tag two races back and will now change barns to be under the care of Bruce Brown.

6th race [NY, OC45k/N2X, 1 mi] – (4) Daddy Knows was third and first in his last two starts at this top allowance level for Jeffrey Englehart who had a great Aqueduct winter meeting. (2) Seven Lilies was second last time behind a horse that became a repeat winner. He has a strong record at the Big A. (5) Dr Ardito came back from a 10 month layoff and won the first-level allowance for state-breds for Chad Brown. He now has two wins in a row. (3) Just Right was taken for $32,000 from an open claimer after running second and will debut for Gustavo Rodriguez who wins at a 36% clip with new horses.

8th race [NY, Alw 72000 N1X, 6 ½ F] – (10) Bold Journey (B) moved from success against NY-breds to the Gotham (G3) and the Kentucky Derby trail. He got off to a poor start and then fought the jockey who was trying to rate him in the back of the back. Now, he gets Lasix and returns to state-bred racing. (5) Key Point was a debut winner at Saratoga for Chad Brown as the favorite. He has been off since then. (1) Lookin for Trouble has lots of close finishes at this allowance level and could hit the board again in here. (8) Trustyourinstinct ran only once against NY-breds for former NY regular Gary Contessa. He finished top three in all but two of his starts.

Best bets:  Lucky Brody (1st); Bold Journey (8th). Best value:  Kingdom Queen (5th); Daddy Knows (6th).
