nd race [Md Sp Wt, 1 1/16 TURF mi] – (5) Order of Magnitude (B) was sent off in his debut at 4-1 for Chad Brown in a race that came off the turf and was run on a sloppy track. He was stuck with a rail trip when the inside was not the place to be. (8) Pioneering Spirit got bumped and steadied in his American debut for Todd Pletcher on a sloppy track after the race was moved off the grass. In his first start at the Curragh in Ireland he missed the win by a neck. (3) Al’s Rocket moved to the turf after his first career start on the dirt at Belmont Park and he rallied to miss by a neck at the wire for Pletcher. (2) Ansel will move back to the turf where he began his career for Bill Mott.

rd race [Clm 25000 N2L, 6F] – (5) Stormi Cat Lady was claimed for $30,000 three races back by the dangerous trainer Gustavo Rodriguez. He broke his maiden for the new trainer and then tried an allowance. Now he is in the right spot in the N2L condition. (7) Red Pepper Grill has a pair of seconds at this level in his most recent starts. (1A) R Working Girl was a debut winner at Aqueduct a year ago in a maiden special weight and was claimed in October from Wesley Ward. (8) Mazal Eighteen showed speed and ran third when he moved from turf to dirt and dropped in claiming price.

th race [NY, NY Stallion Series, 7F] – (4) Bank Sting returned from a five-month layoff and ran in the Empire Distaff along with a few others from this race. Prior to that she had won four races in a row including a NY-bred stake. (6) The Important One is currently on a three-race win streak with the most recent in the Iroquois for state-breds which she won easily on a sloppy track on the front end. (7) Byhubbyhellomoney cuts back to sprinting which is where she is best. (1) Fight On Lucy won a second-level allowance two races back going today’s distance after she set the pace in that Empire Distaff.

th race [NY, Md Sp Wt, 6 ½ F] – (9) Agility (B) was part of a fast pace in his debut at odds of 4-1 and had the lead in the stretch but finished fourth. (3) Bossmakinbossmoves has a pair of seconds in his two starts. Last time he clipped heels at the start. (1) Relate will make the first start of his career start for the Asmussen barn and Stonestreet. He was a $685,000 2-year-old purchase as a son of Connect out of an unraced mare with one modest winner. (2) Call My Banker was heavily bet in his debut for Mark Casse when he ran fourth. He now runs for Chris Englehart to stay in the NY-bred ranks.

Best bets:  Bank Sting (5th); Agility (7th). Best value:  Order of Magnitude (2nd); Stormi Cat Lady (3rd).
