*D: Went down 2 or more betting notches and finished 4th or worse
* - 4 or more betting notches if 11-1 or more.

4th race – (5) Seaside Retreat (A) has two seconds in his career, one last year as a 2-year-old and then in October of this year. On a sloppy track at Belmont Park, she raced greenly while lugging in down the stretch for Phipps Stable and Shug McGaughey. (3) Dovima faced some formidable fields in her first four starts with many horses that came back to be winners in their next start. With three seconds and a third, this Chad Brown runner had speed figures that top this field of maiden special weights. (8) Dance for the Gold gets blinkers on after a trio of place finishes at Mid-Atlantic tracks for Jorge Duarte and Colts Neck Stable. (6) Alemia will move from turf to dirt for Christophe Clement who is making all of the right moves at this Aqueduct meeting.

6th race – (10) U Should B Dancing (B) will try this NY-bred stakes race after a pair of seconds in maiden special weights on the turf. Last race, the horse dragged the rider to lead and then drifted out in the stretch losing by a neck. (7) Vive La Liberty (B) lost all chance in her last start when she was pushed off the track at the start. She will also try this stakes field without a victory. (11) Laobanonaprayer shipped to Belmont from Delaware Park to win the state-bred Maid of the Mist by five lengths in her most recent start. (1) Grey Destiny was a debut winner for Clement in a race that came off the turf and was run a sloppy Belmont main track.

8th race – (11) Uno (B) was an impressive debut winner by almost four lengths after getting bumped out wide at the start for Todd Pletcher. He now moves up to this New York Stallion Series stakes race. (7) Dreamer’s Disease will ship to Aqueduct to make his first start against NY-breds for Robertino Diodoro. He won an allowance race at Keeneland and then ran sixth in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile (G1). (8) Hold the Salsa won a NY-bred stake two races back at Belmont at today’s seven-furlong distance. (6) Market Alert was a debut winner at Belmont back in June followed by three starts in stakes races that include a third in a strong state-bred race at Aqueduct.

9th race – (9) Hot Button (B) jumped at the start of her last race and lost all chance for Brad Cox. She drops down to the lowest maiden claiming level of $20,000. (1) Miss Moon Pie makes her first start for Linda Rice and drops out of two maiden special weight starts. (8) Celestial Dream will make her second start for Mike Miceli who will move her from turf to dirt as a horse with some early speed. Miceli wins with that surface change at a 31% rate. (4) Kitten’s Romance will make her first start on the dirt after showing lots of early speed for trainer David Duggan.

Best bets:  Uno (8th); Hot Button (9th). Best value:  Seaside Retreat (4th); U Should B Dancing (6th).
