3rd race [Clm 25000 N2L, 1 mi] – (2) Seahorse d’Oro (A) returned from a layoff, dropped back to last, and rallied wide for third on an inside favoring track. (4) Freddymo Factor (C) was bet down from 5-1 to 5-2 and finished second beaten by just a neck. (1) Scott Alaia was claimed for $16,000 in a N2L race where he finished second. New trainer Michelle Nevin wins at 20% clip with her new horses. (5) Raffinity was claimed for $25,000 by hot trainer Michelle Giangiulio.

4th race [Clm 16000 N2L, 6F] – (5) Queentigua (B) broke through the gate and still finished second in her last start. (1) Grape Therapy had two improved races since a layoff when she broke her maiden for $25,000 and then was fourth at this N2L level. 7th race [Alw 82000, 6F] – (4) Carrothers (B) beat the gate last time, finished third, but was disqualified for the trouble at the start. (6) American Monarch has a pair of seconds at this allowance level for Bill Mott at Aqueduct. (2) Saratoga Pal has moved through the NY-bred allowance conditions, tried a state-bred stake last time, and now will face open company in this first-level allowance. He did win an open company starter allowance at Belmont. (1) Supply and Demand returns from an October layoff for Tony Dutrow when he won a starter allowance at Belmont.

8th race [NY, Gander, 1 mi] – (7) Bold Journey (A) was an open length winner of his second start for Bill Mott as an odds-on favorite. The second-place runner that day came right back to break his maiden. (5) Barese (C) won both of his starts with a maiden score at Belmont in May and then after a layoff he won the Rego Park at Aqueduct last month when he was bet down from 7-1 to 9-2. (1) G Munning won at first asking with a front-end effort at Aqueduct and then tried a state-bred stakes.
