1st race [Md 20000, 6F] – (4) Any Minute will make his third start of the year following a layoff. He was second last time with a jump in speed figures. (6) Boneyardholler was claimed out of his debut at Churchill Downs in November from Norm Casse for $30,000 and is now in the barn of Bruce Levine. He returns as a new gelding and with Lasix. (1) Jokemeister ships this guy up from Parx after a place finish in his second start when he had the lead in the stretch. (7) Analysis debuted at 8-1 for Jimmy Ryerson where he got bumped and pinched back at the start.
3rd race [NY, Clm 25000, 7F] – (2) Big Al’s Gal (B) was claimed from her last two starts including most recently when she pressed the pace on the inside on a day when the rail was not the place to be. (5) Saratoga Beauty was claimed from her last seven starts and new trainer George Weaver does not claim horses very often. (3) Keepmyeyeontheboys has been off since July and gets hot rider Trevor McCarthy to ride. (4) Gringotts returns to NY-bred company. She has a great record at Aqueduct and was third against open company last time.
5th race [Md 50000, 7F] – (1) King of Hollywood moved from turf to dirt last time at Aqueduct going a mile, had the lead, finished second while racing in the three-path on an inside favoring track. He comes back in just 11 days. (2) Good Skate has a pair of seconds in his last two starts and gets Lasix for the first time. (8) Good Tip debuted at Laurel for Rudy Rodriguez in a maiden special weight on a muddy track at 8-1. He will get Lasix and blinkers for the first time. (6) Sensibleconclusion made his first start in November at odds of 6-1, got claimed for $40,000, and now returns with Lasix.
8th race [NY, Clm 25000, 6F] – (4) Dream Bigger (C) was a winner last time in an open company claimer when he was bet down from 6-1 to 4-1 three weeks ago. (3) Golani Brigade returns to NY-bred competition and gets a rider change to Dylan Davis who won with him the last time he was on board. (2) Dark Money was claimed out of his last seven races and now is with Rudy Rodriguez who will move him back to this level where he raced at Saratoga and Belmont Park. He has five wins at the Big A. (1) P J Advantage has nine career wins and returns from a November layoff.
Best bets: Any Minute (1st); Big Al’s Gal (3rd). Best value: King of Hollywood (5th); Dream Bigger (8th).
