rd race [OC50k/SAL50k, 6F] – (3) Rooski (C) was a winner of her last two starts including a similar spot to this one at Aqueduct where she rallied late and was bet down from 6-1 to 7-2. She will enter here for the optional $50,000 tag. (4) Tweaqued was a debut winner for a $40,000 tag last month at the Big A. (6) Lady Milagro was just a nose behind the Hot List horse after having the lead and setting the pace when moving from turf to dirt. (2) Rosemary Potatoes was a first-time winner in June at Monmouth in a maiden special weight at 2-1 odds. Off since then, she moves to the barn of Chad Summers.
th race [Md Sp Wt, 6F] – (7) Tap N Glo comes back from a July layoff and moves to the barn of Linda Rice. She was second in her first two starts and gets Lasix now which is true of most horses that are now three years old. (3) Sweet Solare will make her debut for trainer Horatio DePaz who is a 23% winner with his firsters. (5) Exxaltress debuted at odds of 5-2 for Chad Brown and set the pace before fading to fifth on a sloppy track. Now, she gets Lasix and blinkers. (6) Cupids Girl has a pair of fifth-place finishes with the second coming at odds of 2-1.
th race [Clm 8000, 6F] – (9) Bourbon Mission (D) set the pace on a sloppy track at Aqueduct when bet from 8-1 to 5-1 and now drops down to this lowest claiming level offered by NYRA. (5) Joycee Haz Pizzaz was claimed out of his last two starts and now makes a notable drop down in class. (7) Ninth Hour has tactical speed and returns to the Big A where last year he ran well in claimers at a higher level. He is back to the Noda barn and drops down to be a threat to win. (8) Fleet Warrior comes back from an August layoff, drops down in class, with past victories at Aqueduct.
th race [Clm 32000, 1 mi] – (2) Crypto Cash (B) was claimed from a second-place finish on a muddy track when he rallied seven-wide on a track that was favoring speed and horses on the inside. (4) Dark Storm (B) was claimed from 4 out of his last 5 starts, most recently for $25,000 when he finished third after a wide trip on a track that was favoring speed. (9) Just Right was a winner at this level last time with a front running effort. (6) Lost in Rome will drop back into the claiming ranks where he had a third and a second recently.
Best bets: Rooski (3rd); Tap N Glo (5th). Best value: Bourbon Mission (6th); Crypto Cash (7th).
