1st race [Xtra Heat $75,000, Str 25k, 6 ½ F] – (2) Its Cold in Dehere qualified for this starter stake when she was claimed a year ago for $25,000 at Turfway Park. Since then she won four times and has a pair of second-place finishes in third-level allowances at Aqueduct and that gives her a significant class advantage in this field. (4) Easy to Bless had a big win in an allowance at the Big A two races back by seven lengths earning a top speed figure. She won 7 out of 16 career starts. (5) Shesalittle Edgy got claimed for $62,500 last time by Gustavo Rodriguez when she was second. (6) Cazilda Fortytales was claimed for $16,000 in October and has moved up the ladder since then. She won a state-bred allowance on the front-end going seven furlongs at Aqueduct in January.

2nd race [Belle Gallantey $45,000, Str 8k, 7 F] – (4) Witch Hunter came back from a short layoff to win a NY-bred allowance by almost three lengths and earned the best speed figure by any horse in this field by a large margin. (3) Indian Bella was a winner of a $12,500 claimer in her most recent start in this starter stake with the lowest restriction. (2) First Forever ships in from Penn National with a series of six races which she won or finished second. The most recent was a win for $16,000. (5) Sniff is another shipper from that Pennsylvania track with an allowance victory to her credit in February.

3rd race [Kelly Kip $55,000, Str 12.5k, 6F] – (5) Dee Bo (C) was claimed for $14,000 from his last race when he ran second and was bet down from 9-2 to 5-2. (2) Belle Tapisserie was claimed for $10,000 when he was a winner at Aqueduct and then stepped up to $32,000. (6) Tapizearance won a first-level allowance in February for Linda Rice.

8th race [Stud Muffin $75,000, Str 25k, 1 3/8 mi] – (4) Air Attack (C) was bet down from 7-2 to 9-5 when he returned from a short layoff in a $40,000 claimer and he was second in the stretch eventually being third. (9) Sir William (B) ran a good race against maiden claimers but makes a wild step up in this spot. (5) Blewitt is the winner of 3 out of 4 starts. He has a great record at Aqueduct of 11: 6-3-0 and has a class edge over this field. (8) Bar Fourteen made a big improvement in his first race off the claim for new trainer Gary Sciacca when he won by eight lengths for $40,000.

Best bets: Its Cold in Dehere (1st); Witch Hunter (2nd). Best value: Dee Bo (3rd); Air Attack (8th).
