*C: Went down 2 or more betting notches and finished 1st through 3rd
*D: Went down 2 or more betting notches and finished 4th or worst
* - 4 or more betting notches if 11-1 or more.

1st race [Alw 12500s, 6F] – (5) Malibu Mischief is the winner of seven out of her last nine starts with the two non-victories coming in stakes races. (4) Ruvies in Time has been running in top level NY-bred allowances with a win last time out. He gets into this field from a victory in a $12,500 claimer at Belmont Park in October. (3) Rude Awaking came back from a three-month layoff to finish second at this level. In her nine starts at Aqueduct she has never run worse than third. (1) Fair Regis won her most recent start by 11 lengths for a $25,000 tag against NY-breds. She was claimed for $10,000 by her current trainer in December.

2nd race [Alw 40000s, 7F] – (4) American Power (C) was claimed for $40,000 at Saratoga and since then has won three of his last four including a win in the Toboggan (G3) after getting bet down from 6-1 to 7-2. Before that he had an allowance victory, both at seven furlongs. (5) Pete’s Play Call has faced stakes company in his last three with a second behind the Hot List horse. He was fourth last time in the Tom Fool (G3) after racing wide. (1) Mad Munnys is a solid allowance horse who qualified for this race when he raced for a $40,000 tag at Belmont in the fall. (3) Home Run Maker was claimed last time for $32,000 by Natalia Lynch who has a good percentage with her new horses.

6th race [Alw 20000s, 6 ½ F] – (4) Family Biz (D) was bet down from 7-1 to 8-5 last time in an allowance race and had a wide trip to finish fourth. He is a late runner who needs a fast pace. This field of nine appears to have lots of early speed as he cuts back in distance from a one-turn mile. (2) Twelfth Labour (C) was an easy winner when he was bet from 7-2 to 8-5 in a $32,000 N3L condition. He was claimed in five of his last nine races. (9) Clench was claimed from his last three starts, most recently he was taken back by trainer Antonio Arriaga who won with him two races ago. (8) Ryan’s Cat was a runaway winner by more than 15 lengths in a field of four earning a 100 Beyer Speed Figure for Rudy Rodriguez.

9th race [Alw 25000s, 1 3/8 mi] – (11) Super Dude (C) has two wins from his last four starts and both times he was claimed. He was third last time in his first start for Jeremiah Englehart when he was bet down from 7-1 to 7-2. (2) Villainous (C) qualified for this race when he was claimed last time for the $25,000 price where he was bet down from 7-1 to 5-1 and rallied late to get second. He looks like one who will benefit from the opportunity to run in a rare 11 furlong race. (1) Musical Heart will get class relief after hitting the board in three straight stakes races for trainer Rob Atras. (3) Doubly Blessed is the winner of his last three starts moving up from a $16,000 tag to a $50,000 starter allowance to a first-level allowance. Trainer Michael Maker is adept at training horses to get long distances.

Best bets: Malibu Mischief (1st); American Power (2nd). Best value:  Family Biz (6th); Super Dude (9th).

Saturday Pick 3 Special --
