1st race [Md 20000, 6F] – (1) My Delicious (C) was bet down from 11-1 to 6-1 when she dropped to the $20,000 level. She had the lead in the stretch and got run down by a closer. (2) Love’s Misery has past speed figures when running six furlongs that are good enough to win against this field. (5) Roma Carpe has been off for close to a year, but she was competitive at this level at times. (6) Bad Breth had an excellent debut race at Finger Lakes in November.

3rd race [Clm 14000 N3L, 6 ½ F] – (2) Stencil (D) gets a pass for her last race on a sloppy track in a starter allowance when she was bet from 7-1 to 9-2. In her prior start she was a front-end winner in N2L condition for a $40,000 tag. (3) Investment Guide has early speed as she drops back to the $14,000 level. (7) Mebs Web was second at this level last time. (6) Polished Gem moves from the cold Linda Rice barn to that of Orlando Noda. She was racing against much better horses at Saratoga.

7th race [OC62k/N2X, 6 ½ F] – (3) Dealing Justice (C) really has never run a bad race in eight career starts including last time when she was bet down from 5-2 to 3-2. Her last three races were on wet tracks. (1) Eloquent Speaker ‘s last three races are good enough to win this second-level allowance. Last time she was second in the La Verdad for NY-breds. (6) Shesalittle Edgy was claimed for $62,500 last time at Aqueduct. She is a mare that knows how to win with 6 victories in 18 starts. (5) Rossa Veloce is in fine form as of late with a win in a second-level allowance against state-breds.

8th race [NY, OC45k/N2X, 6 ½ F] – (8) O Shea Can U See (B) was stuck inside all race on a day when the rail was not the place to be. (1) Foolish Ghost returns from a December layoff and drops into this claimer for the first time having been a stakes winner at Saratoga against NY-breds. (6) Bad Guy fits at this claiming level. (5) Sicilia Mike is known from his closing move and his consistency with almost $600,000 in earnings. When he gets enough pace, he will come running to the wire.

Best bets:  My Delicious (1st); Stencil (3rd). Best value:  Dealing Justice (7th); O Shea Can U See (8th).
