1st race [NY, Md Sp Wt, 1 mi TURF] – (3) Ouster (A) got blocked, had to steady after the start and alter paths ending up in eighth, and then rallied for second beaten by only a half-length. (9) Joint Resolution (B) was entered to race on the turf in his debut, got jostled around, and finished fourth at 5-1. (8) Conquist gets blinkers on after running third last time having had the lead in the stretch. (4) Valentino’s Here was second in his second career start and then had a troubled trip with a bad break at the start.

2nd race [Md Sp Wt, 1 1/8 mi] – (3) Classic Catch (C) was bet down from 8-1 to 5-1 in his debut for Todd Pletcher and finished third behind an impressive stablemate. (6) Jungfrau will make his second start for Bill Mott after running fourth during the final weekend at Saratoga. (2) American Hustle ran well in his last two starts against strong fields for Bobby Flay and Christophe Clement. (7) Crupi ran third in his first three starts last time behind the expensive and impressive winner Signator.

3rd race [NY, Key Cents, 6F] – (1) Weekend Rags (B) was second in his debut behind a Chad Brown winner and was much better than the rest of the field. (5) Stonewall Star broke his maiden in his second start and then was third in the New York Breeders’ Futurity at Finger Lakes. (6) Small Pebbles won both of his starts in a maiden special weight and then a stakes race at Finger Lakes for NYRA trainer Carlos Martin. (4) Three Unions was a front-end winner of his maiden in his third start.

8th race [Clm 14000B, 6F] – (9) Brunate (C) returned from a three month layoff where he ran second after getting bet down to be the favorite. (10) My Last Mission gets the services of Irad Ortiz after setting the pace at Delaware Park and finishing third. (2) Storm Shooter faced NY-bred allowance horses twice after a win in a N2L claimer back in September. (6) The Met won his last two starts at Finger Lakes with stalking trips moving from a N2L to a N3L.

Best bets:  Ouster (1st); Classic Catch (2nd). Best value:  Weekend Rags (3rd); Brunate (8th).
