rd race [NY, Md Sp Wt, 6F TURF] – (2) Citizen K (B) got bumped and pinched back at the start and rallied from last to third in what was his second start of the year both of which were his first tries in turf sprints. Both speed figures top this field. (7) Yarrow has hit the board in all three of her starts, which were on the grass, for Christophe Clement. He was second last time after a troubled trip. (9) Dakota Dancer was entered to debut on the grass but ran on a sloppy track. He will get Lasix for his second start for George Weaver. (1) D’vinicris will move up from a pair of board-hitting finishes in claiming races for excellent turf trainer David Donk.

th race [Alw 50000s, 1 mi] – (3) Royal Realm (D) was bet down from 5-1 to 3-1, finished third, and was claimed for $30,000 from a N2L condition. He returns for the new trainer as a gelding. (4) Blu Grotto will make his second start after a long layoff. He was third last time behind two horses that both came back to win their next starts. (9) Texas Swing ran third in the Tampa Derby (G2) last year and most recently got his second victory in a $30,000 claimer. The Todd Pletcher runner was not taken for that price and now moves to this starter allowance. (8) No Burn was claimed from Bill Mott out of a 10-length victory in a maiden claimer on a sloppy track at Belmont Park last month.

th race [Md Sp Wt, 6 ½ F] – (1) Splitsecondsonny (D) was bet down from 9-1 to 6-1 in his third start which resulted in another fourth-place finish, this time within two lengths of the winner. (8) Marysvale will make her second start for Bill Mott after flashing speed in her debut and then fading to fifth. She will now cut back from a mile. (9) Adam’s Angel was a $1.025 million yearling purchase who will make her first start for Shug McGaughey. The dam was stakes-placed and has a winner from her only foal to race. (5) Favor will make her first start for Todd Pletcher and Stonestreet with this $500,000 yearling purchase.

th race [Central Park, 1 1/16 mi TURF] – (3) Sy Dog (A) was an open-length winner of his debut at Belmont a month ago for Graham Motion after getting bumped going seven furlongs. (1) General Ken is unbeaten in two starts which includes a seven length maiden win at Delaware Park after which he was privately purchased and moved to the barn of Chad Brown. He returned on Nov. 5 to rally and win the Awad by a nose at Belmont right on the wire. (2) Geno was second in the Awad after setting the pace for David Donk who was the trainer of Awad. (4) Trust Daddy again ships up from Laurel after last time closing to finish second in the Atlantic Beach at Belmont. He will have to stretch out from that sprint.

Best bets:  Citizen K (3rd); Sy God (7th) Best value: Royal Realm (4th); Splitsecondsonny (6th).
