1^st race [NY, Md Sp Wt, 6 ½ F] – (5) Vax (C) made a big improvement when she was once again heavily bet and finished second after pressing the pace earlier in the Aqueduct meeting. (7) Bustin Hot will make her second start for Linda Rice with blinkers on after running at 6-1 odds. (1) Starry Midnight is out of a mare that has produced three winners of more than $100,000 and will debut for Jorge Abreu who is good with firsters. (8) Marley’s Ghost will make her first career start shipping up from Fair Hill for Michael Trombetta. Her dam earned $148,000 and was a stakes winner as a 2-year-old.

4^th race [Alw 90000 N1X, 1 mi] – (6) Timeless Journey (B) was blocked in the stretch for a furlong in her first start after a six month layoff. After that start she was looked like a horse that would benefit from a move to main track. (7) To a T has three second-place finishes in her last four starts. (2) Beachfront Bid broke her maiden last time by more than eight lengths with a career high speed figure. (1) Rhombique moves back to the dirt where she has a pair of second-place finishes with one of them at Aqueduct.

5^th race [NY, Md 40000, 1 mi] – (3) Dee’s Speedstre (C) was bet down from 8-1 to 6-1 and ran third in what was his first start in a maiden claimer. Blinkers come off after two races. (6) Bobby the Tank will move back to the main track and drop into a claimer for the first time for Chad Brown. (8) Sounds Spooky shows up as new gelding for Todd Pletcher and moves from turf to dirt. (7) Who Me showed improvement when he moved back to the dirt and tried the claiming ranks.

9^th race [Md 30000, 6F] – (4) Willful Desire was second in her last start at Delaware Park at a similar level and now changes to the barn of Ned Allard. (1) Bank Buster set the pace last start in September also at Delaware and ended up fourth behind a horse that won next time out. (9) Bella Michelle will make the big drop from maiden special weights to this claiming level and gets back on the main track. (8) Caly Bali was sent off at 4-1 in her debut when she flashed speed and now drops into this claiming race.
