5th race – (7) Autostrade (C) stretches out to a mile and an eight after consecutive thirds at Belmont Park where he was bet down from 16-1 to 7-1 last start at the same $12,500 tag for Rudy Rodriguez. (5) Dynamax Prime (D) was claimed for $25,000 two races back by Rob Atras who moved him to a NY-bred allowance where the horse was bet from 17-1 to 12-1. Now he drops down to half the price at which he was claimed. (4) This Cat Can Fly has two very good races on the dirt with competitive speed figures at Finger Lakes around two bad wet track races, the last at Aqueduct. (8) Calculated Risker has a few good starter allowance routes at Monmouth Park for trainer Ray Handal. He has won at Aqueduct in the past.

7th race – (8) Never Surprised (A) won his debut on the grass at Aqueduct for Todd Pletcher and Mike Repole in a time of 1:09 at odds of 5-2. The son of Constitution will now stretch out in the Central Park going two turns. (2) Breadman (B) won his debut on the turf and then tried a dirt stake for NY-breds and was third. John Terranova moves him back to the grass. (7) Hard Love won as a first-time starter on the Belmont Park grass going two turns at odds of 11-1. The son of Kitten’s Joy was a $200,000 purchase this Spring. (6) Original debuted against a very strong group on the dirt and then broke his maiden on the grass while racing on the front end. He was a $425,000 2-year-old purchase.

8th race – (6) Undine (A) took to the sloppy track at Belmont when she ran away from the field to win by almost seven lengths for Brad Cox. She will face winners in this first-level allowance. (8) Center Aisle has two thirds in a row, both in graded stakes races in New York. The $1.4 million yearling purchase will drop back to allowance company looking for win number two for Chad Brown. (1) Critical Value has two stakes wins against NY-breds and a fourth in a Grade 2 at Aqueduct last year. (3) Glass Ceiling was claimed by Mertkan Kantarmaci for $32,000 when she ran second. She has three victories to her credit.

9th race – (2) Battle Station (C) won a turf sprint stakes race at Saratoga this summer and will try another stakes race here after catching a sloppy track last time when he got bet from 9-1 to 5-1. (9) Archidust is a very consistent turf sprinter with two stakes wins at Monmouth this summer and a third in the Belmont Turf Sprint (G3). (8) Maxwell Esquire is the winner of three out of his last four starts for Christophe Clement.
