(2) Fangirl takes the blinkers off in her first appearance in N2L condition after showing speed in an allowance in her 2020 debut. (1) Dare to Try won a maiden special weight at Parx and then caught a sloppy track which led to a second in N2L company. (4) Trapped N My Mind is a consistent type who hit the board in eight of 13 career starts and gets a favorable rider change.

4th race – [(1A) Known Agenda (C)/(1) Overtook] make a formidable entry for Todd Pletcher where both of these St. Elias runners have a chance to win this nine furlong maiden special weight. (8) Greatest Honour (B) has two third-place finishes in his first two starts for Shug McGaughey. (5) Bellagio will debut for Bill Mott. The son of Union Rags has been working steadily since the end of July at Belmont Park. (7) Go Lime ships up to New York from Parx for Uriah St. Lewis after a debut fourth at the Pennsylvania track going two turns.

9th race – (1) Ten for Ten (A) won by eight lengths in his second start for Shug McGaughey which came on a sloppy Belmont Park track going 8.5 furlongs. Now, he steps up to the nine furlong Nashua (G2). (4) Pickin’ Time won the Smoke Glacken going six furlongs at Monmouth Park for trainer Kelly Breen who won the summer meeting there. In his prior start he was second going a two turn mile in the Sapling. (5) Isolate ships up from Gulfstream Park for trainer Kathy Ritvo with two wins in his first starts, the last by 10 lengths on the slop going six furlongs. (2) Nova Rags was a rare debut winner on the dirt for trainer Bill Mott when he rallied in a sprint at Belmont.

10th race – (3) U Should B Dancing (C) had the lead in the stretch last time in a seven furlong turf sprint for NY-bred maiden special weights and finished second while getting bet down from 9-1 to 6-1. Trainer Pat Kelly brings her back on 10 days rest going a furlong shorter. (4) Stella Mars pressed the pace in her debut and ran third for Ray Handal who usually improves his results second time out with young horses. (2) Little Dutch Girl makes her debut for Christophe Clement who has a 25% win rate with first timers. (8) Violentiam has piled up three second-place finishes with two on the grass and one on the grass most recently.

Best bets:  Pletcher entry (4th); Ten for Ten (9th). Best value:  Left Leaning Lucy (3rd); U Should B Dancing (10th).
