th race [NY, Md Sp Wt, 1 mi] – (1) Bavarian Crème (B) will move from turf to dirt and the main track may be her best surface. Last time she was rank and bumped around in a wide trip. (6) Photon has four top three finishes in a row with the last two on the turf. (3) Summer Takeover will make her debut for Jorge Abreu who is good with firsters. This daughter of Arrogate is kin to a stakes-placed earner of almost $200,000. (11) Duckphat returns from a May layoff and switches back to the dirt at Aqueduct where she has hit the board twice.

th race [Fall Highweight (G3), 6F] – (7) Runninsonofagun gets the highweight of 132 pounds based on five consecutive top three finishes in graded stakes in New York. He won the Bold Ruler (G3) last time has three wins from four starts at the Big A. (6) Factor It In is another consistent performer with a third last time in the Bold Ruler and a pair of stakes wins at Laurel Park since the summer. (5) Synthesis recorded his best speed figure in an allowance victory at the BAQ meeting last month in his second start after a layoff. (3) Happy Farm has six finishes either first or second in his most recent races. He was claimed twice for $40,000 in that sequence.

th race [Red Smith (G2), 1 3/8 mi TURF] – (6) Mooney Love (A) moved to the Bill Mott barn from Italy and impressively won his only start in America in July in a Saratoga allowance. In Italy he was Group 2 placed last year. He has been in training in New York. (11) Dynadrive (B) won the Lure at Saratoga in his second start in the Tom Morley barn. In his prior race at BAQ he was last and raced wide into a slow pace on day when the inside was the place to be. (8) Temple raced in graded stakes in his last six starts with a recent second in the Sycamore (G3) at Keeneland for Mike Maker to go with a third in the United Nations (G1) at Monmouth Park. He won a Grade 2 at Gulfstream Park in March. (4) Astronaut switched to the barn of Tom Albertrani and he immediately responded with a third in the Turf Classic (G1) at BAQ behind War Like Goddess. He is a past Grade 2 winner in California.

th race [NY, Md Sp Wt, 6F] – (1) Mariachi (A) was second in his debut while finishing well ahead of the others. (8) Factually Correct (A) had to steady repeatedly in his first start and still managed a convincing second-place finish after having the lead in the early going. (2) Victory Money is a son of Constitution making his first career start for Todd Pletcher and Repole Stable with a series of impressive workouts. (5) Mama’s Gold pressed the pace in his only start at Saratoga when he was sent off at 9-2 for Mike Maker.

Best bets: Runninsonofagun (8th); Mariachi (10th). Best value: Bavarian Crème (7th); Mooney Love (9th).
