nd race [NY, Alw 80000 N1X, 1 1/16] – (6) Stone Creator won her debut at Aqueduct in January by five lengths and then placed twice in NY-breds stakes. She will make her first appearance in the first-level state-bred allowance. (2) Preposterous has been off since breaking her maiden in October at Belmont in a race that was meant for the grass. She will be first-time Lasix in here. (5) I’m Fine was second at this level earlier in the month at the Big A for Joe Sharp. (4) Holiday Jazz broke her maiden by nine lengths in a claimer following a five-month layoff.

th race [NY, Md Sp Wt, 6F TURF] – (2) Queen of Lies debuted at Gulfstream Park on the Tapeta and got steadied in the early going for Michael Stidham. (3) Shamalamadingdong has been off since Saratoga. She had two seconds last year and now runs for the Clement barn. (9) See Me Now was a well-bet fourth in her debut last month at the Big A for George Weaver. (6) Lola Lola will make her first career start for trainer Mike Miceli.

th race [Clm 30000 N2L, 6F TURF] – (3) Runaway Rockette was second in a similar spot at Gulfstream last month and then tried a tougher starter allowance at Keeneland for Bill Mott. (10) Freedomofthepress broke her maiden for a $40,000 tag last year at Aqueduct in November and then returned from a winter break in a starter allowance two weeks ago. The $30,000 claiming price is the perfect level. (11) Candy Monet gets blinkers on as she gets back on the grass for David Donk. (9) Half Birthday broke her maiden just a week ago in her first start and first try on the grass for Tom Morley.

th race [Clm 20000, 6F] – (7) Belle Tapisserie (C) was second in the Kelly Kip at Aqueduct which was a starter handicap and was bet down from 7-1 to 5-1. He ran best in open claimers like this. (1A) Fast Break (B) drops back in for a tag after being rank and had to be taken up in an Aqueduct stake. (3) Quality Stones (A) had the lead down the stretch but was carried out very wide and finished third. (5) Sicilia Mike is a veteran claimer who is dangerous down the stretch anytime the pace is fast.

Best bets:  Stone Creator (2nd); Belle Tapisserie (7th). Best value:  Queen of Lies (4th); Runaway Rockette (7th).
