1st race – (4) Rye Humor (B) was a game second last time and should appreciate the added distance. (3) Abundant may perk up in a claimer. (5) Extreme Force is also worth a look in a claimer. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exactas: 4 over 3-5 and 3-5 over 4.

4th race - (6) Letmeno tired in a longer race but should be suited by this one-mile distance. (4) Sounion was a distant second and adds Lasix for this try. (5) Totally Jimbo comes off a solid win and could be a main factor. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place. Exacta box: 4-5-6.

7th race – (9) Change of Control has been competitive in graded stakes and should thrive over this course where she’s 3-for-3. (10) A Bit of Both won her first start for Maker and figures to be one of the main rivals. (2) Stillwater Cove tired after a long layoff but may benefit from that effort. (4) Winning Envelope will be closing quickly at the end. Betting strategy: 9 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-4-9-10. Doubles: 2-4-9-10 with 3-4-5-8.

8th race – (5) Caddo River showed some improvement while finishing second again and seems ready for a maiden win. (3) Partner’s Hope seems ready for a nice effort in his debut. (8) River Redemption might appreciate a switch from turf to dirt. (4) Windcracker was second or third in three of his four starts and will be in the picture once again. Betting strategy: 5 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-4-5-8. 

10th race – (11) American Tryst had a promising first start on turf and then flopped on dirt. Could perk up back on turf and notch a maiden win. (3) Public Information may be more competitive on turf. (6) Tamanrassett gets back on turf and should take a step forward. (5) Floriform might welcome a switch to turf. Betting strategy: 11 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-5-6-11.
