1st race – (2) Swither’s Shortcut takes a big drop for Amoss and looks best in this field. (1) Cadron Flats turned in a good effort at Oaklawn and will be a main contender from the rail. (4) Southsider has a late kick and could sneak into the picture at the end. (5) Firehorn will welcome a dry track. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2. Exactas: 1-2 over 4-5 and 4-5 and 1-2. Doubles: 1-2-4-5 with 2-3-5-7.

2nd race - (7) Thoughtfully is working sharply for her career and deserves top billing here. (2) American Indy seems ready for a big effort in her debut. (5) Golden Glass could be a threat in this group. (3) Trip to Seoul cannot be ignored. Betting strategy: 7 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-5-7.

6th race - (6) Vintage Print was a solid winner in his last start at Gulfstream Park and can make it two in a row here. (7) Fancy Liquor looks like the one to catch in this spot. (3) Blanket of Roses will appreciate a return to turf. (2) Pleasecallmeback could work out a good trip from the rail. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-6-7. Doubles: 2-3-6-7 with 1-2-4-7.

7th race – (7) Hersh (B) had a troubled trip last time and still rallied for third. Can atone for that setback here. (2) Golden Notion broke his maiden last time and seems to fit in well with these. (1) Hidden Talent will be a major threat from the rail at this level. (4) Youngest of Five might rebound against claimers. Betting strategy: 7 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-4-7.

9th race – (4) Tizahra weakened late in the stretch last time but may not look back here. (6) Broadway Lady should be closing quickly at the end. (7) More Than Unusual seems to have the potential to be a factor in his debut. (1) U S S Lexington just might turn in a better showing with a smooth trip from the rail. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place.  Exacta box: 1-4-6-7.
