3rd race – (2) Bodemeister Wind takes a big class drop while cutting back to one turn. He seems best in that spot. (1) Toobadsosad drops to a level where he should be effective. (7) Something Natural finds a spot where he fits in quite well. (3) Runnin’ Ray hasn’t raced since being claimed nine months ago, but could be a contender if there’s no rust. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2. Exactas: 1-2 over 3-7 and 3-7 over 1-2. Doubles: 1-2-3-7 with 5-6-8-10.

4th race – (8) Bonkers drops into a claimer for the first time and should prove best here. (10) Twirling Patti might appreciate a switch to turf. (5) Flauto has sharp early speed and could be tough to catch here. (6) Pearl Girl didn’t fire against MSW rivals but should have an easier time here. Betting strategy: 8 to win, place. Exacta box: 5-6-8-10.                                                   .

6th race – (6) Goin’ Good had a rough start then failed to show her usual early speed. Should make amends here. (4) Amalfi Princess switches back to turf and cannot be overlooked. (1) Lady Edith will be a threat in the final furlong. (3) Illegal Smile should benefit from her comeback race last time and move forward here. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-3-4-6.

9th race – (2) Juliet Foxtrot (A) was an impressive gate-to-wire winner last time in a grade 1 stakes and can make it two in a row here. (1) Mintd won after a 10-month layoff and could be the main rival. (3) Hendy Woods had a useful prep for this and will make her presence felt. (6) Dominga should find this distance more to her liking than 1 ½ miles. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-3-6.

11th race – (3) Smith’s Point (B) rallied belatedly in her debut to finish third and seems poised for a win here. (4) Bold Tactics has never been worse than third and belongs in the exotics. (2) Kizzy B cuts back to one turn and should welcome the cutback. (6) Lenni Be Lucky is worth a close look in her debut. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-4-6.
