2 nd race – (2) Tenth of Gold (C) was bet down from 2-1 to 3-2 and finished as the runner-up for a second straight time. Should find the right distance here. (5) Runpat should be a main threat in a claimer. (3) Thing is worth a look while adding Lasix and switching to dirt and a claimer. (4) Tall Timber was third at this level and should be a factor once again. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-5. Exactas: 2-5 over 3-4 and 3-4 over 2-5.

4th race – (7) Thief of Hearts makes her 2021 while dropping into a claimer and could prove best. (6) To Sing My Song adds blinkers and might perk up in a claimer. (2) Leia Organa should be better suited by dirt. (9) Polyester Bride was third against similar company and should be a contender. Betting strategy: 7 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-6-7-9.

7th race – (7) Favorite Sin should welcome a stretchout to two turns and can handle this bunch. (2) Longpants Required has been absent since December and seems to be working well for her return. (6) High Fashion exits a nice maiden win and merits respect here. (5) Lulmaru has a nice turn of speed and could be tough to catch here. Betting strategy: 7 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-5-6-7. Doubles: 2-5-6-7 with 1-7-9-11.

8th race – (11) Eucharist showed some promise at two and has been working sharply for his first start in eight months. Should be tough to handle on his best try. (7) Colonel Bowman disappointed last time but can wake up against these. (9) Macron was a sharp maiden winner and fits in well with this group. (1) Therideofalifetime should be a main threat from the rail. Betting strategy: 11 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-7-9-11.

10th race – (3) There Goes Harvard cuts back to a mile and seems to have found a winning spot. (7) Group Hug has been no worse than third in her last three starts and belongs in the exotics. (8) Business Model was third in her last two starts at two and seems poised for a big effort here. (4) Surveillance failed to fire when fourth last time and could take a step forward here. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-4-7-8.
