2nd race – (3) Blues Power put in a fast blowout for this and should win at first asking for Ward. (9) As Required notched a bullet work for this and could be the one to watch. (2) Barrel Proof could make his presence felt here. (4) Call Papa has racing experience which may come in handy here. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-4-9. Doubles: 2-3-4-9 with 1-2-3-5.

3rd race - (3) Summer Revolution (C) dropped from 2-1 to 3-2 and won easily. Can make it two in a row today. (2) High Risk Strategy also exits a winning effort and should be a main threat. (1) Above Board returns to a claimer and could be tough to catch. (5) Here’s Carlos figures to be closing quickly at the end.  Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-3-5.  

6th race - (7) Evil Lyn was claimed out of an easy win by Maker. Seems ready for another sharp try. (4) How Ironic has some late kick and will be a threat in the final furlong. (3) Osaka Girl hasn’t started since a January win but is training smartly. (12) Hey Kitten should not be ignored in his first start for Diodoro. Betting strategy: 7 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-4-7-12.

8th race – (3) Guest Suite turns back to a sprint and should be effective at this level. (2) Malpais has sharp early speed and could be tough to catch. (1) Pete’s Play Call moves up after finishing a solid second and will benefit from a rail trip. Also runs in an entry with Hollis. (8) C Z Rocket won for fun last time and will be dangerous if he fires once again. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-3-8. Doubles: 1-2-3-8 with 1-2-7-9.

9th race – (2) Tapit Today tired in a longer graded stakes. Looks like the one to beat from the rail. (7) Lady Kate may shine on turf. (9) Strike My Fancy rallied nicely after a rough start and should move forward with a clean trip. (1) Complicit heads an entry with Lounge Act and they form an interesting duo. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place.  Exacta box: 1-2-7-9.
