3rd race – (6) Trade Secret makes her debut for Asmussen and seems ready for a sharp try. (5) Sax may also hit a high note in her debut. (3) Eclipsed might overshadow them while starting for the first time. (2) Bode by You flopped in a stakes on a wet track. Should rebound here. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place. Exacta box: 5-6. Exactas: 5-6 over 2-3 and 2-3 over 5-6. Doubles: 2-3-5-6 with 1-2-7-8.

4th race – (2) Tulfarris seems the best and most consistent runner in this field. Gets the nod. (7) Calvary Charge should be arriving on the scene at the end. (8) Thrill Ride may work out an exciting trip while stretching out. (1) La La Land may be doing some singing, dancing and winning from the rail. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-7-8.

6th race – (12) Played Hard (A) missed by a nose last time and appears due for a maiden win here. (2) Miner’s Queen was a solid second at Oaklawn and should be the main foe. (8) Princess Grey C has been working nicely for her career debut. (3) Promise Of the Nile should be on edge for a sharp debut. Betting strategy: 12 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-8-12. Double: 2-3-8-12 with 1-3-8-9.

7th race – (1) Convection is unbeaten in two starts and can make it a hat trick in his first try for Amoss. (3) Lookin for Loki fits much better here than in a stakes and should turn in a better effort. (9) Big Union debuts after a Forster claim and will be a threat. (8) Edge to Edge will welcome a return to turf.  Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-3-8-9.

9th race – (7) Six Feet Apart  (A) turned in a strong effort when a frontrunning third in her debut. They won’t catch her today. (8) Bombshell was second in her lone US start last summer. Will be dangerous if ready. (10) Honorably has speed and could last for a share of the pot. (9) Bout Time is worth a look in her career debut. Betting strategy: 7 to win, place. Exacta box: 7-8-9-10.
