1st race – (3) Windcracker takes a big drop after running second in his first try for Diodoro. Looks best in this spot. (1) Calico Joe could be a threat in his debut. (2) Amazing Rocket could take off against this field. (6) Freer was a good second at this level and should be a factor once again. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-3. Exactas: 1-3 over 2-6 and 2-6 over 1-3. Doubles: 1-2-3-6 with 1-2-3.

2nd race – (3) Kewpie Doll (A) returns quickly from an impressive win last time and should be able to handle this bunch as well off a class drop. (1) Lichita was hurt by a wide trip and was then was claimed by a hot barn. (2) Field Daisey could be a threat after a layoff. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-3.

4th race – (1) Abrogate gets some class relief here after running in a graded stakes and should prevail. (3) Miss Speedy may live up to her breeding here and may be tough to catch in a small field. (5) Someone Said So also exits a graded stakes and will be a factor. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-3-5.

6th race – (1) Street Missy missed by a head and can make amends here. (6) Miss McBride might appreciate a stretchout to two turns. (4) Twentytwenty Hoax is no joke in this spot. (3) Princess Lea has been second or third in her last four starts and cannot be ignored. Betting strategy:  1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-6. Exactas: 1-6 over 3-4 and 3-4 over 1-6.

9th race – (4) Tiz Rye Time was claimed off a solid second by Joseph and can pay a quick dividend. The (1) entry of Leading West and Palace Coup are the ones to fear. (5) Cousin Larry was claimed out of a win and will be a force here. (9) Hombrazo is worth a long look in this spot. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-4-5-9.
