1st race – (3) Time for Cupid takes a big class drop but should be able to handle this field. (6) Miss Bootsy could have an impact on this field. (4) You’re Avoiding Me flopped in her debut but can rebound here. (2) Lucy Jane should fit in with this group. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-4-6.

4th race – (2) Grapnel drops in class and should not look back against this field. (8) Steely Danza has been no worse than third in his last six starts and looks like the main rival. (1) Holy Cross was second last time and should be in the picture here. (7) Drop Anchor could find smooth sailing in this spot. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-7-8.

6th race – (5) Ballykeen (A) set the pace last and held on for second. May not be caught today. (4) Louella Street is worth a look off the runner-up finish and a claim. (3) Ineedagirllikeyou could be a threat on her best try. (9) Shell Shock might wake up in this field. Betting strategy: 5 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-4-5-9. Doubles: 3-4-5-9 with 1-4-5-6.

7th race – (4) Air Combat (C) was bet down from 9-5 to 7-5 and posted a clear victory. Can make it two in a row here. (6) Edge to Edge missed by a nose and should be the one to fear. (1) County Final will benefit from a rail trip. (5) Fore Left belongs in the exotics. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-4-5-6.

9th race – (3) Push Button was an improved third in his second try and the third time could be the charm. (2) Vintage Year should be a stretch threat here. (6) Habitus will be a contender on his best try. (9) Blue Devil should be quite competitive in this field. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-6-9.
