2nd race – (1) Zawish put in bullet works for this and seems ready for a strong effort in her debut. (3) Landed Gentry was a distant second in a rich claimer and should benefit from that experience. (4) Still Carrying On is another firster with promising works. (6) Mrs. Nushi was claimed out of a runner-up finish and merits attention. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-3. Exactas: 1-3 over 4-6 and 4-6 over 1-3. Doubles: 1-3-4-6 with 1-5-6.

3rd race – (1) Thomas Shelby posted a second straight win last time and can make it three in a row here. (5) My Bariley could be a threat in the final furlong. (6) Intrepid Heart had a rough trip last time and deserves a second chance here. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-5-6.

6th race – (4) American Tattoo drops a notch and may have found a winning level. (2) Little Menace returns to dirt and will be a factor. (6) Knight’s Cross is worth a look off the Diodoro claim. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-4-6.

8th race – (1) Frost Point (A) just missed by a neck in a sharp effort and should make amends here. (2) Super Chianti could make her presence felt in her U.S. debut. (3) Suki returns to dirt and may perk up. (4) Misty Veil could be tough to catch here. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-3-4. Doubles: 1-2-3-4 with 3-5-8-10.

9th race – (3) Doctor Nash drops in claiming price and should prove best here. (8) Requisition may appreciate the stretchout to two turns. (5) Pinch Hitter was third at this level and should be in the picture once again. (10) Knightly Mischief could thrive in a claimer. Betting strategy: 3  to win, place. Exacta box: 3-5-8-10.
