3rd race – (8) Risky Reward (B) returns to turf for Walsh and should turn in an improved in this spot. (7) Euphoric gives turf a try and is worth a look. (5) Blossom Road seems ready for a nice effort in her debut. (4) I’m a Hugger could embrace a victory in her debut. Betting strategy: 8 to win, place. Exacta box: 4-5-7-8. Doubles: 4-5-7-8 with 3-4-6-7.

4th race - (4) Further Lane makes her first start in a little more than a year but should be able to handle this field. (2) Tetrahydro fits at this level and should be a contender here. (3) Runaway Dream could improve off the Flint claim. (7) Cabo Dorado dropped in class and responded with a game second. Should not be ignored here. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-4-7.

6th race – (2) Ballot Initiative didn’t fire on dirt but should blossom on turf for Brown. (7) Regal Passage was third in both career starts and seems to be the one to fear. (6) Smoothover rallied belatedly in her debut and should appreciate the added distance. (1) Margaret’s Joy should work out a good trip from the rail. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-6-7.

8th race – (5) Sonneman was second in his last two starts and seems due for a winning effort. (2) Ragtime Blues has a nice turn and could be tough to catch in this spot. (4) Mo Mosa exits stakes company and will be a main threat. (7) Mailman Money should move forward off his last start in a sprint. Betting strategy: 5 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-5. Exactas: 2-5 over 4-7 and 4-7 over 2-5. Doubles: 2-4-5-7 with 1-3-8-9.

9th race – (8) Apreciado lacked a late kick last night but should be more formidable in a starter race. (9) Hemp Hemp Hurray was second in his last two starts and can complete the exacta once again. (3) Kurilov should take a step forward back on turf. (1) Go Poke the Bear will be a threat in the final furlong. Betting strategy: 8 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-3-8-9.
