1st race – (5) Ultimate  (C) was bet down from 8-5 to 6-5 and was claimed out of a good second. Should pay a quick dividend. (4) Wild Wes drops to a level where he fits in. (3) Toobadsosad will be a stretch threat. Betting strategy: 5 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-4-5. Doubles: 3-4-5 with 1-3-6.

2nd race – (1) Four Dawn was a troubled third at this level last time and should appreciate two turns. (3) Off the Charts tries claimers and should be a main contender. (6) Champagne Sister is worth a look against claimers. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-3-6.

5th race – (8) I Will Stand has been freshened since turning in some good efforts in the spring and looks best here. (5) Prompt has been away since last year but seems competitive at this level. (4) Stay Home also drops in search of a win and can contend for a chunk of the purse. (3) Futile was second in his last two starts and will be in the picture.  Betting strategy: 8 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-4-5-8.

7th race – (1) Curbs and Cones (A) won by 11 lengths last time and seems destined for back-to-back wins. (2) Candy Raid was hurt by a wide trip last time and can make amends here. (3) Laura’s Charm may find better racing luck here. (6) Mohaylady exits a stakes and cannot be ignored. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-3-8.

9th race – (7) Amendment Nineteen was third in a stakes and should pass this test. (4) Lady Frosted exits a big win and an Amoss claim and is the one to fear. (8) Stop Shoppin Tammy might wake up in this field. (3) Bees and Honey won easily in a claimer and cannot be dismissed in this spot. Betting strategy: 7 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-4-7-8.
