2nd race – (4) The Stiff drops off the Amoss claim which is often a winning move. This shapes up as a nice spot for him. (3) Nobrag Justfact is worth a look while trying dirt. (2) Mississippi ships in from Del Mar and may be suited by Kentucky racing. (7) Eskenforit can perk up in a claimer. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-4. Exactas: 3-4 over 2-7 and 2-7 over 3-4. Doubles: 2-3-4-7 with 3-4-5.

3rd race – (4) Spy a Star (A) was an impressive winner in her first start for DeVaux and can make it two in a row here. (5) My My Munny drops to a level where she should be effective. (3) Fine Prospecture was third last time and should be a factor here. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-4-5.

6th race – (1) Barstow was an easy winner last time and can handle these from the rail. (3) Jesuit can win off the claim by Baker at this level. (4) Vidal looked good winning a maiden claimer and fits here. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-3-4. Doubles: 1-3-4 with 3-5-6.

7th race – (3) Myopic was second in a graded stakes last time and should prove best here. (5) Hunt the Front should improve second time after a long layoff. (6) Defeater could be ready for a winning effort.  Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-5-6.

10th race – (8) Wicked Genius tries claimers for the first time and can prevail over this bunch. (9) Hippodrome will also welcome a drop into a claimer. (6) Star Shopping might be well-suited by dirt. (5) Coastal Chaos moves up off a claim and should be in the picture. Betting strategy: 8 to win, place. Exacta box: 5-6-8-9.
