2nd race – (7) Tiz Light the Way was no worse than third in his last four races and finds a nice spot here. (3) Army Scout may find the right path to the winner’s circle. (4) Happy Camper was victorious in his last start on dirt. (1) The entry of Toe Tappin Luke and Needabetterjock is worth a look here. Betting strategy: 7 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-7. Exactas: 3-7 over 1-4 and 1-4 over 3-7.

4th race – (4) Sunny Isle Beach missed by a neck earlier in the meet and looks like the one to beat. (2) Puye Timing could perk up on a fast track. (5) Lady Frosted should be effective at this level. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-4-5. Doubles: 2-4-5 with 2-3-6-7.

5th race – (7) Flat Awesome Jenny was claimed out of her last two races and is nicely spotted by Norm Casse. (6) Honey Parade has won two of her starts over this track and should be the main rival. (2) Jungle Juice has some speed and should be battling until the end. (3) Larimar has won her last three starts on dirt and will be a factor here. Betting strategy: 7 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-6-7.

8th race – (3) Eivissa was second last time and seems ready to record a maiden win. (5) Hannah’s Haven might wake up in her third career start. (7) Love to  Run exits a second at Saratoga and cannot be ignored. (4) Malibu Marie was third in her debut and can take a step forward here. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-4-5-7. Doubles: 3-4-5-7 with 2-3-6-10.

9th race – (9) Sonneman was third after a short layoff and should advance off that effort. (6) Pyron makes just his second start of the year but was third in a Grade 3 stakes and will be dangerous on his best try. (5) Lykan comes off a sharp win and should be a force in this field. (4) Pneumatic is working sharply for his first start in a year and seems ready for a solid effort. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-6-10.
