1st race – (3) Idiomatic comes off a convincing debut win on synthetics but should be able to handle dirt equally well. (2) Imogene Malvina won on a wet-fast track which could come in handy here. (4) Sequist was third in a stakes and has a class edge. (5) Park On the Nile can benefit from her 2022 debut

2nd race – (11) Inventing was a game second in her debut and should graduate here. (10) Misread was also second In her first start and looms the main foe. (7) South Georgia will welcome a return to dirt. (8) Blamethechampagne should bounce back on dirt.

3rd race - (1) Q F Seventy Five posted a maiden win off a layoff and can make it two in a row. (8) Aviano didn’t fire last time but seems better than that effort. (3) Red Hornet missed by a neck and merits respect. (7) Grael could be a factor at the finish. IF DIRT: (4) Myopic becomes the pick.

4th race – (7) Juju’s Map was a Grade 1 winner at 2 and starts her 3-year-old season with a win against these. (5) Semble Juste was hurt by a wide trip last time and can improve here. (1) Compelling Smile flopped on synthetics, should perk up here. (8) Illiogami adds blinkers and figures to have better fitness this time.

5th race – The Modesty Stakes Presented by TwinSpires, G3 - (1) Fluffy Socks was second in her 2022 debut and should move forward here. (8) Bleecker Street has won four in a  row and is the one to fear. (4) She Can’t Sing seems ready for a step-up to graded stakes company. (9) Pass the Plate was a troubled third last time and merits consideration. IF DIRT: (2) Stand Tall becomes the pick.

6th race – The La Troienne Stakes Presented by Signify Health, G1 -  (6) Pauline’s Pearl had some excuses when second in the Azeri and makes amends here. (2) Shedaresthedevil won the Oaks here and should be the main competition. (4) Battle Bling belongs in the exotics. (1) Jilted Bride can benefit from a rail trip and be around at the end.

7th race – The Alysheba Stakes Presented by Sentient Jet, G2 - (5) Olympiad seems poised to become a major player in the division and gets the nod here. (7) Happy Saver runs infrequently but runs well whenever he does. (6) Fulsome is on the upswing and merits consideration. (2) Weyburn is quite game and cannot be ignored.

8th race – The Edgewood Stakes Presented by Forcht Bank, G2 - (5) Dolce Zel turned in solid efforts in her two U.S. starts and looks best here. (8) Spicer missed by a head against the top pick and can complete a Chad Brown exacta. (4) Kneeships rallied wide last time and stands the best chance of spoiling Chad’s party. (3) McKulick makes her 2022 debut and adds to Chad’s grip on the race. IF DIRT: (10) Dream Lith becomes the pick.

9th race – The Eight Belles Stakes Presented by TwinSpires, G2 - (8) Matareya was a landslide winner at Keeneland and seems poised for another top effort. (6) Gerrymander makes her 2022 debut but has enough talent to be a contender. (2) Pretty Birdie has enough early speed to shine in this spot. (9) Awake At Midnyte should be well-suited by the turnback to a sprint.

10th race – The TwinSpires Turf Sprint Stakes Presented by Sysco, G2 - (1) Gregorian Chant ships in from California and should prove best. (3) Caravel looked sharp in her seasonal debut and is the one to fear. (8) Gear Jockey should be a threat in the final furlong. (10) Arrest Me Red looks like the one to catch in the stretch. IF DIRT: (7) Diamond Oops becomes the pick.

11th race – The Longines Kentucky Oaks, G1 - (4) Nest has done little wrong in her career with 4 wins in 5 starts and was ultra-impressive in the Ashland at Keeneland. Seems best in an excellent edition of the Oaks. (8) Venti Valentine was second by a neck to Nest last year and should rebound from a surprising loss last time. (10) Kathleen O. is undefeated after 4 starts and will be a major force in the stretch. (3) Hidden Connection narrowly lost to Echo Zulu and should be aided by the added distance here.

12th race – (2) Reagan’s Decision was third in a graded stakes last time and should prevail from the rail. (9) Wish You Well won her debut on the front end and could prove tough to catch. (12) Vaccine of Hope is worth a shot here while trying dirt. (5) Angitude has been away since December but has enough talent to make her presence felt.

13th race – (8) Colorful Mischief should close out the day by winning at first asking for Pletcher. (6) Little Blaze was an improved second last time and seems best of the experienced runners. (10) Merci Road was third in her debut and might move forward in this spot. (9) Rather Be Lucky seems a rather fitting horse for today’s card.
