3rd race –  (1) The Mary Rose (C) was bet down from 7-5 to even money and forged to the front in mid-stretch, only to tire late and finish third. Cuts back to one turn and may not look back. (2) Li’l Tootsie is stretching out to a mile but has enough speed to be dangerous. (3) Will’s Secret could be worth a look in her first try for Lukas. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-3.

5th race – (3) The Judge and Jury takes a big class drop and has a decided edge on this field. (6) When in Rome is a firster from Sharp who merits attention. (1) Offutt Cole is speedy enough to be a threat from the rail. (11) Mad Magic is another interesting firster. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-3-6-11. Doubles: 1-3-6-11 with 3-5-7-10.

6th race – (5) Yearn for Victory tries claimers for the first time and should prove best. (3) Mount Kenya might respond to a turf-to-dirt switch. (10) Commander Compton comes off a nice maiden win and should not be overlooked. (7) Fort Defiance might perk up in a claimer. Betting strategy: 5 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-5-7-10.

8th race – (2) My Prankster (B) was third behind Jack Christopher last time and should handle this field. (3) Gunite had a helpful 2022 debut and should be the main rival. (5) Burninhunkoflove won by a nose last time and cannot be ignored. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-5.

10^th race – (9) Film Star is working nicely for his career debut and can win at first asking for Cox. (7) Drink the Wind rallied for third last time and should be a threat in the final furlong. (3) Bold Looker is working sharply for his comeback and can be a top contender. (4) Cyclone can blow by these with his best try. Betting strategy: 9 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-4-7-9.
