1st race –  (6) Tecumseh Caroline moves over to dirt after failing to fire on turf. Seems to have a good pedigree for dirt. (1) Adam’s Creed is a firster who could be a factor here. (2) Baker Kait is another who may benefit from a switch to dirt. (3) Flame McGoon was an improved third last time and merits a look here. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-3-6. Doubles: 1-2-3-6 with 2-3-4-7.

2^nd race – (3) Storming Machine seems primed for a big effort on turf in his career debut. (7) Colonel Vargo is another firster who appears to have some talent. (2) Zio Jo put in a quick gate effort for this try. (4) Wound Up could make his presence felt here. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-7. Exactas: 3-7 over 2-4 and 2-4 over 3-7.

4th race – (3) Carson’s Legacy takes a big class drop and should be better suited by dirt. (9) Precedent may respond to the class drop and a switch to turf. (2) Smiling At Val fits in nicely with this group. (1) Sippin N Kissin could be a threat in the late stages. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-3-9.

6th race – (9) Stafford to Kupp could score a touchdown in his career debut. (1) Prayforcountry should benefit from a rail trip in his debut. (4) Aplombado seems on edge for a big try in his debut. (8) Let Him Do should welcome the class relief in a claimer. Betting strategy: 9 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-4-8-9.

8th race – (7) Theuntouchableone has an interesting turf pedigree and could perk up in this spot. (4) Tangledupingrey ran well enough on synthetics to be a factor here. (1) Chicknfingerfriday could generate a tasty payoff while moving to turf. (8) Royal Hero deserves some attention against these rivals. Betting strategy: 7 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-4-7-8.
