2nd race – (7) Storm the Bastille was charging powerfully at the end and missed by less than a length. Should work out a winning trip here. (4) Irish Heatwave was hurt by a wide trip last time. Can bounce back here. (5) Full of Luck tired late against the top pick but could hang on better here. (6) The Black Album might wake up off the claim.  Betting strategy: 7 to win, place. Exacta box: 4-5-6-7.

4th race – (4) She’s Our Charm was a game second in her last start and looks like the one to beat here. (1) She’s So Special had a rough trip in a stakes and should be more competitive here. (3) Querelle tuned up in a sprint and should appreciate the added distance. (2) Quiet Secretary could be tough to catch here. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-3-4.

6th race – (4) Burgoo Alley (B) missed by a head in a sharp effort and looks best here. (9) Bleu Ballon could have enough speed to offset the outside post and be a main contender. (5) Carpe Fortuna should be closing quickly at the end. (6) Get On the Bus had a troubled trip last time and deserves a second chance here. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exacta box: 4-5-6-9.

8th race – (7) Red Lark was no factor in a Grade 1 stakes but fits much better here. (4) Tapwater failed to show her customary speed in her last start but should rebound in this spot. (1) Neige Blanche will benefit from a rail trip. (5) Rideforthecause should be well suited by the distance. Betting strategy: 7 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-4-5-7.

10th race – (1) Nu Pi Lambda (A) was shuffled back on the turn and then rallied nicely to finish third. Make amends for that setback today. (12) Anonymously (C) dropped from 8-1 to 5-1 and rallied between horses to finish a good second. Can be a factor here if she can get in off the also-eligible list. (5) Roses and Candy may thrive at this distance. (10) Isn’t She Lovely is working sharply for her first start since April and cannot be overlooked. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-5-10-12.
