3rd race – (2) Gidgetta had a troubled trip in a graded stakes and should be able to handle this field. (7) Five Pics Please showed speed in a stakes and could be tough to reel in here. (1) Angelcents has speed from the rail and cannot be overlooked. (5) Fantasy Heat can be a factor in this spot. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-5-7. Doubles: 1-2-5-7 with 2-3-4-8.

4th race – (2) Paint Me Lucky was second in her last two starts and is overdue for a maiden win. (8) Whistleblower should perk up in a claimer. (4) Heir could improve off the claim. (3) Investment Account has a nice turn of speed and looks like the one to catch. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-4-8

6th race – (1) Pasito (B) was much the best last time, losing by a nose after swinging 8 wide on the turn. Gets a rider switch and a rail trip here which should make a difference. (2) Traffic Stopper was fourth behind the top pick and will be a threat again today. (9) Angel’s Advocate had some trouble last time and is worth a look. (8) Flat Out Joy drops to a level where she should be a threat.  Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-8-9. Doubles: 1-2-8-9 with 1-2-3-7.

7th race – (2) Leggs Galore just missed in a Grade 3 stakes and may not look back against state-breds. (7) Warren’s Showtime beat the top choice last time and is the one to fear. (3) Nardini should welcome a return to turf. (1) Pulpit Rider figure to get a ground-saving trip and will be a force late. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-7. Exactas: 2-7 over 1-3 and 1-3 over 2-7.

9th race – (1) Vantastic (B) was bothered in the stretch last time and should work out a winning trip here. (6) Seeking Refuge was a good second in a starter race and merits a long look. (10) Onenightstandards should turn in a better try here. (11) Sea of Liberty has a nice late kick and will be charging late. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-6-10-11.
