1st race – (3) Prayer of Jabez (B) had a troubled trip when third and can make amends here. (6) I Know Cash Flow will welcome a return to the main track. (5) Finglas Lad might wake up at this level. (2) Pure Speight has speed and could be tough to catch here. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-6. Exactas: 3-6 over 2-5 and 2-5 over 3-6. Doubles 2-3-5-6 with 1-2-5-7.

2nd race – (2) Ridin’thestormout debuts for Sadler and seems ready for a strong effort. (1) Meta Girl could work out a good trip from the rail. (5) Llorona might have a promising future for Mandella. (7) Hot Thoughts could make her presence felt here. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-5-7.

4th race – (4) Ikigai was hurt by a slow start last time but can rebound here. (6) Bochombo was a good second last time and should be the main rival. (1) Respect the Code will be dangerous from the rail. (7) Beef Winslow might be helped by the turnback to a sprint. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-4-6-7.

6th race – (6) Inch (A) missed by a head last time despite a troubled trip and should notch a victory here. (8) McWherter is working nicely and merits some respect. (2) My Harbors Dream is worth a look off the O’Neill claim. (5) Golden Ale was freshened after a string of good efforts and fits nicely here. Betting strategy: 6 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-5-6-8.

8th race – (8) Migration was second and third in his last two starts and is due for a maiden win. (1) Kazuhiko could be a threat in a claimer. (5) Tuskegee Cat could improve in his first start for Miller. (10) Pittsburgh has a rough trip last time and can bounce back here. Betting strategy: 8 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-5-8-10.
