3rd race – (2) Park Avenue makes her first start since September, but is working sharply and looks like the one to beat. (1) Esagerare took a nice step forward when third in a claimer and could be a threat here. (4) Angel of Freedom was third in all three career starts. Four in a row here? (5) Flipping Fast has a pair of thirds in two starts and can be a factor. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2. Exactas: 1-2 over 4-5 and 4-5 over 1-2. Doubles: 1-2-4-5 with 1-6-8-10.

4th race – (8) Jan’s Reserve comes off a big win at Los Al and will be tough to beat off a similar try. (1) Studly Perfection looks like the one to catch in the stretch. (10) Kenzou’s Rhythm has enough speed to fit in nicely with this group. (6) House Limit should be a threat off the class drop. Betting strategy: 8 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-6-8-10.

6th race – (3) Nice Ice just missed last time and should make amends here for that setback. (8) Big Clare could have a big impact on the race with the added distance. (1) Warrior’s Moon might work out a good trip from the rail. (2) Kleen Karma missed by a nose two starts back and cannot be overlooked. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-3-8. Doubles: 1-2-3-8 with 1-5-7-9. Pick 3: 1-2-3-8 with 1-5-7-9 with 2-3-4-6.

7th race – (7) It’s Simple was an impressive debut winner for O’Neill and seems more than capable of handling the added distance. (9) Drizella could work out a good trip from the outside post. (1) Madiha was hurt by a wide trip last time and might move forward from the rail. (5) Carmen Miranda could tango into the winner’s circle in this field. Betting strategy: 7 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-5-7-9. Doubles: 1-5-7-9 with 2-3-4-6.

8th race – (3) Algeria took a nice step forward last time with a narrow loss and should emerge victorious today. (4) Bender might perk up with a drop into a claimer and a jockey switch. (2) Winzer returns to turf and can blossom at this level. (6) Circumvent could be a factor off the class drop. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-4-6.
