1st race – (1) I Got No Munny (B) battled the favorite on the front end last time and finished a game second. Should prevail here at the same level. (4) Savile Row showed some promise in winning his November debut for Baffert. Has worked sharply for his return. (6) Laurel River was a good second in a graded stakes and should be a main threat. (7) Feast won easily in a claimer but might contend here.  Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-4. Exactas: 1-4 over 6-7 and 6-7 over 1-4. Doubles: 1-4-6-7 with 1-2-4-5.

2nd race – (4) Queen Goddess turned in a strong rally to finish second in her debut and should prevail here. (5) La Gioiosa found 1 1/8 miles a bit too far last time but should be better suited by this distance. (1) Cliffsofthunder is worth a look in her U.S. debut. (2) Floral Essence was third in all three of her career starts and should be a threat here. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-4-5.

4th race – (1) Montebello is working sharply for her debut and should win at first asking for Baffert. (2) Derecho Dandy seems poised for a solid effort in her debut. (5) Forbidden Kingdom is working like she has a promising future. (7) Flying Drummer is another Baffert firster who should be formidable in this spot. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2. Exactas: 1-2 over 5-7 and 5-7 over 1-2.

8th race – (2) England’s Rose (A) lacked room in the stretch then flew home for second when clear, missing by a nose. Should make amends for that setback today. (8) Lady Noguez has a good late kick and should be a main threat. (4) Luck could be a threat in her U.S. debut. (9) Miss Flawless won her last and could contend in this field. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-4-8-9. Doubles: 2-4-8-9 with 3-5-6-7.

9th race – (3) Pappacap won impressively in his Gulfstream Park and can make it two in row. (6) Aquitania Arrival captured his debut at Churchill Downs and should be able to handle the added distance. (7) Olympic Legend perked up on dirt and seems to have found his preferred surface. (5) Thirsty Always is 2-for-2 and cannot be ignored. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-6. Exactas: 3-6 over 5-7 and 5-7 over 3-6.
