st race –  (2) Street Art has a nice turn of speed and should thrive at this distance. (5) Bochombo drops in class and should be the main threat. (8) Rocky Gibraltar fits in nicely here. (3) Cowboy Charlie has enough speed to be a main factor. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-5-8. Doubles: 2-3-5-8 with 1-2-5-6.

nd race – (1) Unbroken Star lost his rider last time as an even money favorite. Deserves a second chance here with a class drop. (5) Outright returns to dirt and may be effective at this reduced level. (6) Little Demon should appreciate a return to a mile distance. (2) Family Biz could sneak into the picture at the end. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-5-6.

th race – (8) Maven has not shown much for a while, but he’s working sharply and may respond to a class drop. (4) Ikigai looks like the one to fear. (7) Redline should be dangerous off the Sadler claim. (6) Elevado will be a contender if there’s no rust from a long layoff. Betting strategy: 8 to win, place. Exacta box: 4-6-7-8.

th race – (9) Queen Ofthe Temple might welcome the longer distance and turn in one of her better performances. (6) Scarabea was second in a stakes and should be the main rival. (1) Almost a Factor stretches out and should benefit from a rail trip. (10) With This Vow looks like the one they will have to reel in. Betting strategy: 9 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-6-9-10. Double: 1-6-9-10 with 1-3-4-5.

th race – (5) Fun to Dream was an impressive debut winner and now runs for Baffert. Gets the nod in this field. (4) Connie Swingle is versatile enough to be a main factor on turf or dirt and should be tough while shifting from turf to dirt. (1) Rose Dawson could be capable of a titanic effort while return to dirt. (3) Opening Buzz was an impressive debut winner but that was on synthetics. Betting strategy: 5 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-3-4-5.
