1st race –  (5) Americaredwhiteblu held for second last time and is consistent enough to be the top pick. (2) Bright Leaf has been away since April and is working well for his comeback. (3) Mitico has been away since June but should be a factor here. (7) Mo Them Down exits a sharp maiden win and can figure in the outcome.  Betting strategy: 5 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-5-7. Doubles: 2-3-5-7 with 1-2-6-7.

2^nd race – (2) Dream a Dream had a useful debut performance and should move forward here. (7) Cuban Crisis put in a nice gate work for this and could be the one to fear. (1) Real Fire will appreciate a return to turf. (6) Decade of Dreams has speed and looks like the one to catch. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-7. Exactas: 2-7 over 1-6 and 1-6 over 2-7.

5th race – (11) Cause She’s a Lady was a good second in her first try against winners and should prevail here. (7) She’s Bulletproof had a rough trip last time and should be the main threat in this field. (10) Smilin Eve fits in nicely here. (9) Laurel Canyon has not raced in more than a year but could be threat in this spot. Betting strategy: 11 to win, place. Exacta box: 7-9-10-11.

7th race – (1) Kangaroo Court (A) broke his maiden by a pole and should have little trouble with this field as well. (8) Giver Not a Taker won easily in his debut and should be the main threat. (6) Straighten Up  was second in a stakes last time and should not be ignored.  (2) Moon Ice debuts in a stakes, reflecting his connections’ faith in him. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-6-8. Double: 1-2-6-8 with 1-2-7-9.

8th race – (7) First Premio (B) lacked room last time and can prevail with a clean trip today. (2) Coast of Roan also ran into trouble last time and should be respected with Prat aboard. (1) Neptune’s Storm could be dangerous while moving to O’Neill’s barn. (9) Mac Daddy Too might be tough to handle while stretching out. Betting strategy: 7 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-7-9.
